MobilizeAmerica’s Head of Growth will own the design, optimization and scaling of the volunteer acquisition funnel. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the volunteer user journey design to minimize volunteer acquisition cost 
  • Design and optimize user-product touch points through constant experimentation 
  • Develop and own metrics related to user behavior predictive of lifetime shifts completed
  • Develop, prioritize and lead execution of digital and offline growth marketing tactics with the support of digital consultants, and the organizing, biz ops, and technology teams
  • Work with Organizing team to ensure volunteer acquisition efforts are targeted towards the volunteer opportunities available, and vice versa
  • Build volunteer re-engagement program
  • Build volunteer referral and peer-to-peer recruitment programs

Ideal profile: 4-7 years of experience as a PM or product-oriented growth marketer at a two-sided marketplace; campaign experience a plus; NYC-based (flexible). 

Full stack engineers will help us build out new functionality and scale our platform as we approach two critical campaign cycles: Virginia in 2017 and the midterms in 2018.

Key projects will include:

  • Create new functionality for volunteers reaching MobilizeAmerica online 
  • Design and implement improved campaign and partner onboarding user journey 
  • Design and develop enhanced analytics tools for partners 
  • Implement new and improved data infrastructure 
  • Update and maintain integrations with crucial 3rd party CRM 
  • Ensure system stability as we scale the number of volunteers on the platform

We are building out our Biz Ops team. The team ensures we reach operational excellence for our program in Virginia and nationwide, allowing us to scale as fast as possible in the final 90 days of the Virginia elections and beyond.

Key projects and responsibilities will include:

  • Drive execution against top priorities with product, growth, and organizing teams 
  • Develop analytics dashboards to track performance of all platform and organizing efforts 
  • Putting in place systems to ensure all users and partners have full support
  • Manage nationwide logistics for all organizing actions  

Ideal profile: 2+ years in management consulting; NYC or DC (flexible). We are recruiting for full-time, part-time, and short-term roles.

  • Planning and executing campaign events under the direction of the Field Director

We are recruiting organizing fellows nationwide!

Fellows will work closely with activist groups in their local areas to recruit volunteers to impact key elections. The first cohort of fellows will be focused on Virginia, which has a 2017 General Election for House of Delegates and Governor. We are actively seeking people for the fellows program who are motivated to change the country by supporting great candidates for elected office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying partner groups in a home city, for example: activist organizations, resistance groups, local Democrats, college and university groups 
  • Deeply understanding the needs and goals of groups. This will involve listening closely to leaders to understand what they are trying to accomplish and why 
  • In many cases, fellows may lead or facilitate trainings on organizing, voter contact and activism. MobilizeAmerica organizing staff will help train fellows to successfully execute those trainings. 
  • Organizing voter contact opportunities including phonebanks and text banks on behalf of targeted campaigns. 
  • Depending on geography, fellows may recruit for and lead groups to Virginia during GOTV
