Senior Growth Marketing Manager



MobilizeAmerica is at a pivotal point in its growth. We’ve successfully proven our core product in the 2018 midterms, where we worked with 450+ campaigns (including 35 out of the 40 flipped Democratic House seats) and drove nearly 400,000 people to 750,000+ volunteer shifts. Now we are growing the team and investing to have the maximum possible impact in 2020 and beyond.

We’re looking to hire a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join our team to help Mobilize supercharge its growth trajectory by bringing more clients and volunteers to our platform. This role will report directly to our CEO.

You will:

  • Establish the marketing function at Mobilize as our first marketing hire 

  • Based on a deep understanding of market needs and competition, define clear and compelling messaging, unique positioning, content, sales enablement, and lead gen strategies

  • Establish B2B lead generation metrics and run controlled experiments to optimize acquisition across a range of paid and organic channels

  • Develop thought leadership and lead generation content including webinars, newsletters, case studies and blog posts to establish Mobilize’s unique voice with target audience segments

  • Orchestrate our product release marketing efforts and lead the evolution of our approach as our set of offerings grows. Drive awareness of and loyalty to our brand to improve client satisfaction

  • As needed, develop and execute marketing strategies for Mobilize’s launches into new verticals to increase mind share among new buyer types

  • Work with our CEO and contract resources to guide brand architecture (as it relates to the product positioning) via creative, innovative and compelling brand guidelines and visuals

  • Reflect our brand and voice across all public-facing collateral, including: marketing site, social media and user-facing content

  • Serve as a stakeholder to Product on volunteer marketplace growth

You are:

  • Motivated by our mission to support progressive campaigns and causes

  • Experienced in growth marketing -- preferably bringing 5+ years of marketing experience with exposure to enterprise SaaS, marketplaces and/or nonprofits

  • Trained in fundamental marketing principles and practices and have proven capable of driving increases in revenue and client engagement 

  • Well versed in the full product development lifecycle process; preferably experienced with strategizing and launching enterprise software solutions

  • A fantastic storyteller and skilled communicator who can tailor messaging to a wide variety of audiences

  • Experienced in executing marketing strategies and plans, including building a market-driven business case, creating compelling messaging materials, developing and executing marketing and launch plans

  • An organized and self-motivated person with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the team

  • Adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Experienced in A/B testing, analytics, Facebook ads, Google Marketing Platforms and user testing
