Nonprofit Market Development Lead
MobilizeAmerica is a powerful platform for event management and volunteer recruitment.
Having been deployed at national scale to recruit hundreds of thousands of volunteers for political campaigns and advocacy organizations, MobilizeAmerica is rapidly expanding its footprint to support nonprofit organizations.
We are bringing on a Nonprofit Market Development Lead to head up our charge into this vertical. This is an exciting opportunity to take on an entrepreneurial role within a rapidly growing, high-impact and mission-first company.
Build relationships with non-profit decision-makers, technology leaders, volunteer managers, and more
Deeply understand their pain points in current volunteer recruitment and identify how MobilizeAmerica could help solve them
Deliver insights and product requirements to drive our platform to solve nonprofits’ unique pain points in volunteer recruitment
Develop market segmentation and adapt platform pricing as needed
Close and manage pilots with marquee national nonprofits to develop new case studies of impact
Develop robust go-to-market strategy alongside company co-founders, and support in the development of necessary capabilities
Who you are:
5+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, business development, &/or product management
Experience in the nonprofit sector, with a major plus for exposure to events or volunteer management systems
You can seamlessly navigate between sales and product conversations, while building a deep understanding of users and buyers
Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly independent and goal oriented
Passion for empowering high-impact organizations with the best platform for volunteer recruitment
Preference for NYC or DC
Reporting to co-founder / President
Highly competitive compensation and benefits
